The City Government of Davao convened its City Development Council (CDC) General Assembly to discuss updates to the Local Chief Executive’s Agenda, Updates on the Comprehensive Development Plan Formulation, and the election of the new set of CDC Officers.
The Davao City Development Council shall assist the local Legislative Body in setting the direction of economic and social development and coordinating development efforts within the city. Moreover, the CDC shall organize sectoral or functional committees to assist in the performance of their functions, namely: the Economic Development Committee, Infrastructure Development Committee, Social Development Committee, Environment Development Committee, and Public Administration Development Committee.
The CDC General Assembly held at Grand Men Seng on October 10, 2022 was attended by Mayor Sebastian “Baste” Duterte , Hon. Myrna Dalodo Ortiz, Atty. Francis Mark H. Layog, Engr. Ivan C. Cortez, Mr. Julius I Villafuerte, Punong Barangays, and members from the accredited Civil Society Organizations.
